The project was constructed for a family who wanted to build a new home that was constructed on the land of an existing dwelling and chapel located in Somerset.

The existing house was demolished and the old chapel was retained and renovated, a glass link was built to join the new house to the chapel.

This home is a traditional build property, offering large living space and bespoke design features such as oak roof trusses.

The property has a separate garage and self contained apartment.

It uses high insulation values and an air to water heat pump, solar thermal panels and underfloor heating throughout.

We installed a Parex render system, timber sash windows, and the house features a bespoke kitchen and main stair case.
